For over sixty years, Di Camillo has specialized in the production of approved tanks and cisterns for fuel, diesel and the treatment of waste and rainwater. But safety is also that of our specific solutions, which especially in the agricultural and industrial sectors protect the health of operators (and full compliance with current regulations) and the environment. In fact, in addition to diesel and water tanks and purification systems, we also offer our customers a wide range of products such as safety tanks and waste oil tanks.

Safety basins and waste oil tanks: all Di Camillo solutions for safety

In the industrial and agricultural sectors, where potentially dangerous products for the environment and people are used, the use of unsafe tanks and containment solutions is crucial to prevent serious accidents. Di Camillo places safety at the center of its offer, using only high quality raw materials to create certified and tested products for maximum performance, and safe solutions for the storage and containment of polluting or dangerous materials.

Safety tanks

The Di Camillo safety tanks in watertight welded painted steel are treated with a double coat of epoxy primer and the third of anti-corrosion green polyurethane enamel (type RAL6018). The carbon steel grate is hot-dip galvanized, with a high-capacity mesh along the entire perimeter.

Available in volumes from 200 to 1000 litres, they are designed for easy handling with a forklift or pallet truck. It is then possible to add support saddles for the horizontal storage of the drums, or to make them tailor-made for any need.

All our safety tanks are equipped with accident prevention and anti-pollution labelling, and are subjected to registration and testing with a full load hydraulic test for 48 hours. They therefore comply with all current regulations:

• ISO 3864 and CEE 77/576 – L 229 on safety symbols and signs in the workplace.
• Legislative Decree 22 of 02/05/1997 and Legislative Decree. 626/94, Legislative Decree 915/82 on the safe management of waste and the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases.
• Legislative Decree of 11/05/1999 n. 152 (the Consolidated Environmental Law, or TUA) and Presidential Decree 915 of 10/09/ on regulations on environmental matters, including waste management (including hazardous waste).

Waste oil tanks

Used oils, coming from sectors such as automotive, the food and chemical industries, often contain dangerous chemical components. To manage these industrial production wastes in total safety, our used oil tanks, made of carbon steel, are resistant and robust, painted with two coats of epoxy primer and two coats of two-component glossy polyurethane finish, to prevent and resist corrosion.

They have two openings for loading (with an internal grid for draining the filters) and the other for collecting used oils. To increase safety, the tanks are also available in two versions for internal (code SROEI) or external (SROEE), with lid with gas pistons for lifting, and customization is always available to make your waste oil tanks tailor-made .

These tanks also comply with sector regulations, in particular the Ministerial Decree. 16/05/1996, which establishes the mandatory characteristics for tanks intended for the containment of used oils:

• • resistance to the chemical-physical properties and dangerous characteristics of oils.
  • Safety locks to prevent waste oil from leaking.

• Safety systems for filling and emptying.
• Specific labelling.
