1000 liter tanks: one cubic meter of versatility

One of the difficulties in choosing the right tank for water, diesel, diesel or fuel in general is the sizing. The risk is always that of purchasing tanks that are too small for your needs, or too large, which cannot be installed in the available spaces.

There are different types of diesel tanks of 1000 litres, or one cubic metre: approved dispensing diesel tanks in carbon steel, transport or underground tanks, to store diesel and diesel to be used as fuel for domestic, industrial or agricultural uses.

• The approved 1000 liter carbon steel dispensing tanks for diesel develop horizontally for a length of 1.25 m, a width of 1.63 m and a weight of approximately 300kg. The S235JR carbon steel complies with EN 10025/90 regulations, and Di Camillo diesel tanks are approved by the Ministry of the Interior pursuant to the Ministerial Decree. 22/11/2017. The tank can therefore be equipped for refueling needs with a 50 liter per minute diesel pump, with automatic nozzle and 4 m dispensing hose, equipped with an anti-burglary box that opens on 4 sides, a withdrawal management system, electronic stock level and a water filter.
• The 1000 liter tanks for the transport of diesel are certified by the CPABS according to the ADR 2017 for the transport of flammable liquids on the road throughout Europe without ADR vehicles or licences. They can be installed on all vehicles with sufficient capacity, from the beds of pick-ups to the compartments of commercial vehicles, and allow you to refuel operating machines and equipment located in quarries, construction sites, ports or various work areas.
• The 1000 liter underground tanks for diesel are made of S235JR carbon steel and welded internally with MIG, and externally with a submerged arc procedure, as well as being tarred. Di Camillo single-chamber or double-chamber tanks comply with the Ministerial Decree. 29.11.2002 providing the manufacturer’s identification plate, year of construction, capacity, construction and design thickness, as well as being subjected to pressure tightness tests at 1 bar for 12/24 hours. In the upper part, the 1000 liter tanks have an inspection manhole with a diameter of 400 mm, with connections for diesel inlet and 1″1/2 vent, as well as a 1″ sleeve for diesel suction, and if necessary also an overflow valve, an anti-spill trap, 3″ hatch and dispensing unit

• 1000 liter stainless steel tanks: stainless steel tanks are suitable for containing drinking water according to the Ministerial Decree. n.174 of 06 April 2004. They can be made of 304 or 316L stainless steel depending on the installation site (316L steel is more suitable for use near marine areas), and are equipped with a dome for installation of a float and periodic inspection and cleaning. • 1000 liter galvanized tanks: galvanized water tanks are usually used to store water at atmospheric pressure also in firefighting applications. There are, in the Di Camillo catalogue, various horizontal, vertical and even parallelepiped shapes, all equipped with an upper inspection dome, which facilitates the installation of a float and periodic cleaning, 4 anti-rolling support feet welded to the ferrule, and inlet connections 2″ or 3″.
