DESCRIPTION
Model SEI MCU 60000
Polyethylene tank for the storage of not particularly aggressive liquids, built in the rotational moulding technique with constant wall thickness consisting of modules with total passage reinforced by vertical and horizontal ribs, assembled by electrowelding and equipped with inspection turrets with circular manhole. Caps with flap lid and vent. The tank has various shapes through the assembly of curved monolithic pieces that allow you to optimize the spaces creating large volumes. The same is equipped with holes for anchoring made on the support feet of the modules to avoid possible floating in the presence of groundwater. The container is suitable for operation only at atmospheric pressure and must be used only after burial.
Function and use
The tank can be used for the storage of: rainwater, first rain water, accumulations for fire fighting, domestic waste water, landfill leachate, drinking water, rolling mills etc.
The positioning of shells shall be done on a flat, uniform, horizontal surface of a width equal to or greater than the base of the shell.
The tanks can be drilled at the flat parts for inserting pipes or fittings.
Sizing
The dimensioning of the interrupt tanks was carried out by verifying the mechanical strength of the geometry, when it is subjected to the working conditions. The structural analysis of the geometries was carried out by the creation of a finite element calculation model and by the experimental crushing tests carried out on the finished product. The tank has therefore been dimensioned to withstand a maximum covering load with vegetable soil not exceeding 40 cm.
Accessories available and recommended

Continuous modular tank maintenance by interro
Installation
For installation follow the instructions in our manual “Laying and Handling”.
To start
Water recovery plants shall not need to start except for grey water recovery which, inter alia, having ultrafiltration equipment in the last section, is ready for use even after a few days of its feeding.
Maintenance
For storage tanks, the following operations shall be carried out at least annually:
- Check that the bottom of the storage tank has not formed an excessive layer of silt and eventually clean the tank with water jet cleaning and disinfection with sodium hypochlorite
- Check the effectiveness of any loading and/or unloading nozzles inserted on the flat parts of the same.
- Check the absence of deformation after the first major meteoric event and only after such verification proceed with the closure of the construction site
Certification of continuous modular tank compliance by earthing
The lid corrugated model interro tanks are used for the containment and storage of rainwater, first rain water, domestic waste water, drinking water, landfill leachate and all liquids compatible with polyethylene etc… as indicated in the product data sheets (STC 01).
They are made of polyethylene, through the rotational “molding” system and comply with the requirements of the following Standards:
- Regulation No. 1935/2004 EC
- Directive 2002/72/EC
- D.P.R. 777/82 and s.m.i.
- D.M. 21/03/73 and s.m.i.
- D.M. n 174 of 06/04/2004
- ARPAM report n 45/VR/14 of 29/10/2014
- ARPAM report n 46/VR/14 of 29/10/2014
Warnings
Temperature of use of the liquids contained -20 C +60 C, we recommend not to exceed the 50 ºC.
Carefully check the compatibility of the EP with the main chemicals, indicated in the table of “compatibility chemicals”.
The dimensioning of the tank to be interrupted is calculated to bear a maximum load of covering with soil, equal to 40 cm (pedonability).
Always ensure that you have connected the vent before loading and emptying the tank. Clean the container of any processing residues present or formed.
IMPORTANT:
- perform the positioning of the tank on a flat surface and carefully follow the instructions of the handling and installation booklet attached to the supply.
- Do not place the tank outside USE ONLY UNDERGROUND.
