DESCRIPTION
Model SEI CC 2100 AG
Polyethylene tank for the storage of not particularly aggressive liquids, built in the rotational moulding technique with constant wall thickness, corrugated model by interro.
The tank has a structure reinforced by vertical and horizontal ribs and is equipped with 400 male bayonet cap with a watertight and non-watertight vent so the tank is never subjected to pressure that deviates significantly from the hydrostatic pressure and is therefore suitable to operate at atmospheric pressure.
Standard configuration of the product
Function and use
Container to be used underground for the containment of liquids compatible with polyethylene.
The tank can be used for the storage of: rainwater, rainwater, accumulations for fire fighting, domestic waste water, landfill leachate, drinking water, etc. The positioning of the bulk containers shall be done on a flat, uniform, horizontal surface of a width equal to or greater than the base of the container. The sides of the excavation shall be at least 30 cm higher than the external dimensions of the shell. The external operating temperature range is -20 to +60 ºC. However, we recommend not to exceed 50 ºC.
The tanks can be drilled at the flat parts for inserting pipes or fittings.
Sizing
The dimensioning of the interrupt tanks was carried out by verifying the mechanical strength of the geometry, when it is subjected to the working conditions. The structural analysis of the geometries was carried out by the creation of a finite element calculation model and by the experimental crushing tests carried out on the finished product. The tank has therefore been dimensioned to withstand a maximum covering load with vegetable soil not exceeding 40 cm. In the case of containment of liquids with ρ > 1,000 kg/m3 it is necessary to carry out further preventive checks in order to ensure its regular mechanical stability.
Accessories available and recommended
- Extension cord
- Telescopic manhole cover
- Lip seal
- Overflow hose
Maintenance underground tank
Installation
For installation follow the instructions in our manual “Laying and Handling”.
Place the tank on a smooth and clean flat surface and distance it at least 30 cm from the excavation walls or obstacles.
To use the tank outside, check the information in the booklets.
Use and maintenance
The tanks are usually supplied without having undergone any internal and external treatment (washing etc…).
It is therefore necessary to carry out at least one internal wash with water and detergents or soaps specific to the type of use where necessary.
Finally, rinse thoroughly with drinking water.
For storage tanks, the following operations shall be carried out at least annually:
- Check that the bottom of the storage tank has not formed an excessive layer of silt and eventually clear the tank with water jet cleaning and disinfection with sodium hypochlorite.
- Check the effectiveness of any loading and/or unloading nozzles inserted on the flat parts of the same.
- Check for deformation on the inner surface of the container at least 48 hours after filling.
For all maintenance and operation of the system see the manual.
Conformity certification for underground tank
nterro tanks are used for the containment and storage of rainwater, primary rain water, domestic waste water, drinking water, landfill leachate and all liquids compatible with polyethylene at atmospheric pressure as indicated in the product data sheets (STC 01).
They are made of polyethylene by means of the “rotational moulding” system and comply with the requirements of the following Standards:
- Regulation No. 1935/2004 EC
- EU Regulation 2023/2006
- EU Regulation 10/2011 EU Regulation 213/2018 D.P.R. 777/82 and s.m.i.
- D.M. 21/03/73 and s.m.i.
- D.M. n 174 of 06/04/2004 and s.m.i.
Suitability for food contact according to Directives 95/31/EC and 96/77/EC
The grey PE material used for the manufacture of the container shall comply with the overall and specific migration limits and the specific restrictions of the test conditions of the IIP accredited laboratory where the analyses are performed and attested in the IIP TEST REPORT -TEST REPORT No. 0823LP/2021 of 20/10/2021 visible in the Company.
IMPORTANT:
- perform the positioning of the tank on a flat surface and carefully follow the instructions of the handling and installation booklet attached to the supply.
- Do not place the tank outside USE ONLY UNDERGROUND.
Warnings
External operating temperature -20 °C +60 °C, we recommend not to exceed 50 °C.
Before filling the tank with substances other than water, carefully check the compatibility of the PE with the main chemicals, indicated in the table of “chemical compatibility” and, if necessary, contact the Technical Office. The dimensioning of the holding tank is calculated to withstand a maximum covering load with vegetable soil for a thickness not exceeding 40 cm (pedonability).
Always ensure that you have connected the vent before loading and emptying the tank and check that the leakproof inspection cover is properly closed only after filling.
Clean the container of any processing residues present or formed.
The company declines any responsibility inherent to Title V of D. Lgs. 152/06 every time the correct choice of plant solution authorized by the competent authority is not performed, the correct procedure of tank management and the inadequate use of the product.
For the correct installation procedures management and maintenance, please refer to what is indicated in the special booklets attached to the supply.
