Any settling of the ground would cause the polyethylene to bulge<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">leading to fatigue cracking <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the material.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hydraulic connections and drilling of the shaped walls\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The geometry of flat-bottom tanks features flat areas alternating with structural reinforcement ribs. Correctly applying flanged joints or threaded bulkhead fittings requires care in selecting the drilling <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">points.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fittings must be installed exclusively on the flat areas provided by the manufacturer during the rotational moulding process. <strong>Drilling holes<\/strong> on reinforcement ribs or areas with a <strong>reduced curvature <\/strong><\/span><strong>radius prevents proper adhesion of the EPDM or NBR sealing gaskets<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, network and other fittings, flexible piping sections or rubber anti- <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">vibration joints must be fitted near the tank&#8217;s inlet and outlet<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Rigid PVC or polypropylene pipes subject<\/strong> to thermal expansion or slight structural settling <strong>could exert a reinforced bending moment <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>on the brass or plastic nipples<\/strong>, damaging the thread or tearing the tank wall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maintenance guidelines and technical support\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before final filling, it is recommended to carry out a visual hydraulic test, keeping the tank full for <strong>24 hours<\/strong> to check the seal of gaskets and fittings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:
